Korokofolia Beach

Korokofolia beach is located on the opposite side of Fanari Cape, reached by a short walk from Fanari car park. The beach has stunning views over to mainland Greece and Kalamos Island which make it a perfect place to watch the sunrise, you may even spot a local fishing boat in the silouette too.

The crystal clear waters are ideal for snorkeling, there are many rocks to explore where an array of fish gather around. Be cautious of small motorboats whilst swimming as they tend to follow the coast line close to the shore.

To reach the beach, park in Fanari car park and follow the road upwards inland from the beach bar. When the road bends right on the left hand corner you will see a small narrow path. Please note that you need to wear sensible shoes and going down to the beach is at your own risk due to it being very rocky. Once down on the small beach you can wade through the shallow waters to the left and onto one of the smaller sections.

The easiest way to this beach is by small boat and anchor just off the shore to swim.

Plenty of shade is provided by the rocks however there are no facilities so we recomend taking supplies with you. You could always pop down to Jammin in Paradise beach bar for a snack or drink, alternatively there is Niagas Taverna back round in Atherinos Bay which servers a wide range of delicious traditional meals.
