There are a number of year-round options for getting to Meganisi but the most direct is a charter flight (May to October) to Aktion Airport at Preveza from many major airports in the UK or mainland Europe. From Preveza, you can catch a coach or taxi to Lefkada Town or Nidri, or collect a hire car. Depending on your arrival time, you can then catch a ferry to Meganisi.

 

There is one ferry which runs between the island of Lefkada and Meganisi - a vehicle ferry plies the 5 nautical miles from Nidri to Meganisi in about 30 minutes.
