This program will introduce you to the magnificent world of scuba diving. After a basic introduction to diving theory you will enjoy a dive into a fascinating new world. Throughout the program, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including some basic diving skills. The first dive is usually in a swimming pool to familiarise you with the equipment, however starting from the Meganisi base, the first test dive will be nearby in a safe bay.

 

Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit and comfortable in the water can participate in the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience.

Due to the dive school being based on Lefkada we need a minimum group size of 4 people for them to come to Meganisi. For this reason we gather all interested guests onto one day a week (normally Thursdays).

If there are only 1 or 2 of you the dive school can collect your in Nidri, taking the morning ferry from Vathy at 7.30am or 7.50am from Spilia. The minibus will take you to their base at Vassiliki and drop you back off at the ferry at midday to return to Meganisi. Also a nice way to see part of Lefkada too.
